William DeMio, D.C.

Dr. DeMio graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  He was one of three chosen in his class for the Clinical Award of Excellence. Dr. DeMio obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware, prior to completing his Doctor of Chiropractic. 

Practicing in Wayne, NJ for over twenty years, Dr. DeMio has worked with patients of all ages suffering from a multitude of symptoms. Being a great listener and taking the time to educate his patients on their issues, while offering reasonable solutions has been the key to his success.

 

Dr. DeMio utilizes the Zone Technique, a spinal cord stimulation technique that is world renowned for its success. addressing a wide variety of issues over and above neck and back pain. He is certified in various techniques from KST to FAKTR but his favorite technique is RESULTS! Every person is different so you'll see that nothing is "cookie cutter" everyone gets the type of adjustment that gives them the best results!

Dr. DeMio has studied directly under some of the world’s most renowned doctors and researchers to deliver the highest level of patient care. He has exceeded the normal Chiropractic educational requirements and has devoted over 1,000 hours of extracurricular time at seminars and courses. Being a sports enthusiast, Dr. DeMio has extensive experience working with athletes and he serves as the Ramapo College Ice Hockey Team Physician. Dr. DeMio is a Certified Collision Expert by The Spine Research Institute of San Diego in cervical acceleration/deceleration trauma and also in the Cox Flexion-Distraction technique.

 

Dr. DeMio has been certified by the State of New Jersey Supreme Court as an Expert in Chiropractic. Dr DeMio is certified by Meadowlands Hospital in Emergency Department Protocols and by the National Academy of MUA Physicians.  Dr. DeMio is also a certified FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab) provider. Dr. DeMio provides his patients with low force techniques (ZONE Care and KST), to gently adjust our patients ranging from in their 90's, to our littlest patients, when parents bring us their newborns to be checked and adjusted (because being born isn't easy sometimes :)

Dr. DeMio frequently lectures on various health topics for clubs, organizations, corporations, and educational institutions. Dr. DeMio has been a speaker at The International Academy of Advanced Chiropractic Orthopedics, the International Conference on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and the Symposium on Sports and Industrial Injuries.

Dr. DeMio is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.

In his free time, Dr. DeMio enjoys coaching his son's travel ice hockey team for the past 10 years, as well as his daughter's travel ice hockey team.
